Together At Last

Today was the first day Rufus & Cai were put in the same pasture. She had been in the pasture beside him so they could slowly adjust to each other. Everything went great and they spent a lot of time galloping around.

Rufus - New Playmate

Today Rufus got a new playmate named Cai (formerly known as Angel). She's an 8 month old pinto whose just the right size for him. Below are some pics of her.

3 Months + A Few Days Old

Baby R is now 3 months & a few days old.

We measured him yesterday and he weighs 333 lbs and is 12.2 hands tall.

Visit from the Farrier

Today was Baby R's first time getting his hooves trimmed. He did pretty well with 3 of them, but put up a little fight about having his last hoof trimmed. Eventually he decided it wasn't going to hurt him, so he gave in.
